Garner Young Life Team Extended Takes on K-Town

Wow! What a blessing and gift it was to have 18 or our Meredith College and N.C.State friends come spend the weekend with us in Kinston! Clint and I were overwhelmed with JOY for our friends to come and want to spend their last weekend of summer in Kinston with us! For those who don't know, Clint lead Young Life at Garner High School for 3 years and I lead the Meredith College College Life small group for the past 3 years. We treasure these relationships so much and miss them SO much! Maggie rallied the troops together To come to Kinston! Here is a run down of our weekend:

Saturday we spent the day at the water park in Kinston! It was AWESOME!

Sunday morning we went to Grace Fellowship Church with the crew! After church Joan and Jimbo Perry treated us for lunch at the Perry Fun Farm!

AND these sweet friends were so thoughtful and made a scrap book of sweet letter and pictures, a video of all our friends saying their favorite memory with the Rouse House! My favorite gift was this scripture painting of Joshua 1:9, the truth we cling to!
